Mass of the Ascension - 26th May 2022

On Thursday 26th May, we celebrated the feast of the Ascension. The children led refelections about How they will tell everyone the Good News at school? At home? In our world? and How the Lord works with us to tell everyone about the Good News?

Rosary Week May 2022 for Aid for the Church in Need

This week is Rosary week and we are praying for a charity called Aid for the Church in Need. Aid for the Church in Need is a charity that help Christians all over the world who are persecuted or oppressed. They help to support the Church in its mission, and bringing hope and solidarity to millions of people. Aid for the Church in Need have very kindly given each child a Rosary so that we can pray together to support their work.

May is a very special month as it is dedicated to Mary, the mother of Jesus.

The Chaplaincy team visited each class to help us learn more bout Aid for the Church in Need and to help us pray the rosary. Each day we will pray the Rosary and offer our prayers to the work of Aid for the Church in Need. We will say a decade a day.

Crowning of Mary - 24th May 2022

We finished our half term with a crowning of Mary service. Each class made a flower crown to present to Mary in our prayer garden. Our Chaplaincy Team did a wonderful job of organising this. It was lovely to come together outside as a whole school community.
