What is a 'Stay & Play Session'?

A stay and play session is a great way for you and your child to meet new people and make new friends in a friendly, safe and relaxed atmosphere. Our sessions are run by our Nursery Teacher - Mrs Thrasyvoulou who will welcome you and your child and answer any questions you may have.

Benefits for your child include:

  • Allowing children to develop social skills at their own pace
  • Building a child's emotional confidence
  • Encouraging physical activity
  • Supporting children's imagination and creativity
  • Learning through role-play

Come and join us

  • Every Friday at 9:00-10:00am
  • Refreshments are available for the adults
  • Invite your friends with their children too

'Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. It is local and good for the kids. No bad feedback to give' (parent NP)

'Lovely, friendly atmosphere and lots for the children to play with' (parent KW)

'A fantastic group for L to join her friends that she will be in St Pauls with. L has missed out on groups due to Covid so she really enjoys it. There are lots of books, toys and nursery rhymes which she loves too.' (parent EO)

'J loves attending stay and play. He enjoys playing with all the toys especially the ball pit, Lego and instruments. He always uses the tunnel and the climbing equipment. He enjoys seeing the other children and is learning so much from watching how other children play. He loves the nursery rhymes and the space in the hall to have a run around. When we go past the school he cries and wants to come in even it is not Friday. Many thanks to Xen for running it.' (Grandma AM)

'Lovely group. We both look forward to it each week. It is so nice to see the children play and interact. Please keep it up.' (parent ED'

'Such a lovely group and so good for the children to get used to the teacher and the school. My little girl really loves it and we are looking forward to next week. A great atmosphere and I love how Mrs Thrasyvoulou interacts and plays with the children.' (parent SC)
