Royal Albert Hall School Gala

Royal Albert Hall School Gala

On Sunday 23rd March, our school choir took part in the Hertfordshire School Gala. This year’s theme, “For the record” included a vibrant celebration of music across the generations, exploring the ways we interact and connect with music. We performed alongside many other schools from Hertfordshire including St Joseph, Hertford, the Hertfordshire County Youth Choir, Hertfordshire Schools’ Symphony Orchestra and the HMS Steel Orchestra.

Highlights include songs such as ‘When I Grow Up’ from Matilda the Musical by Tim Minchin, Cass Elliot’s ‘Make Your Own Kind of Music’, ‘Believer’ by Imagine Dragons, and the epic finale ‘You’re the Voice’ by John Farnham, with massed choirs and orchestra plus drummers, players from the HMS Steel Orchestra, and dancers.

Young Voices 2025

The choir had a fantastic time at Young Voices 2025. Have a look at our photos and videos below. We even had a VIP meeting with Mc Grammar. Well done to our choir who represented the school so well - we are so proud of you!
